Why Truth in Health Exists

We are continuing to grow as an organization through strategic nonprofit alignment and partnerships that support long-term sustainability, compliance, and expansion.

This foundation allows Truth in Health to scale responsibly while maintaining its education-first mission.

✔️ Clean Living Expo – April 24

The upcoming Clean Living Expo on April 24 is quickly becoming a cornerstone event for the community.

With over 40 vetted vendors and a growing waiting list, this event will bring together trusted resources, education, and connection in one place.

✔️ Expanding CEU Education Opportunities

We are actively developing CEU-accredited education programs designed for professionals such as case managers, nurses, and nonprofit leaders.

This is a critical step toward equipping those who serve others with foundational health knowledge that improves outcomes across communities.

Advocacy in Action at the Oklahoma Capitol

Truth in Health recently participated in Nonprofit Day at the Oklahoma State Capitol, building relationships with lawmakers and increasing our presence as a unified organization.

SB 1840 is designed to help protect non-licensed practitioners by providing clarity and protection for those offering education and wellness support.

This is a critical step in creating a safer, more transparent environment for practitioners and the communities they serve.

Opposing HB 3660

We also discussed concerns around HB 3660, a bill with environmental implications that raised concerns within our community.

Advocacy is a core part of what we do—because protecting health requires both education and action.

Featured Presentation: Polyester & Environmental Health

One of the most impactful moments of the meeting came from founding member Connie Street.

Her presentation focused on environmental exposure—specifically polyester—and its potential impact on the body.

“You might as well be wearing a trash bag.”

This powerful statement sparked immediate awareness around everyday exposure and the importance of understanding what we put on and around our bodies.
